About Me
My name is Sarah Grizzard, and I am the heart behind Chosen Events. I married the love of my life, Wesley, in 2021, and in October 2025, we welcomed our sweet baby boy.
We live in Ider, Alabama, where we enjoy life on our mini farm filled with goats, chickens, ducks, and pigs. I have a bachelor’s degree from Athens State University, but some of my greatest joys have come from the gifts and passions God has placed in my heart.
God has blessed our family in so many ways, and through everything we do, it is our goal that others see Him through us.
Chosen Events began when I discovered my love for helping couples bring their dream wedding day to life. In May 2024, a sweet couple trusted me to direct their wedding, and that experience showed me how the gifts God has given me come together well for wedding coordinating.
What started with one couple quickly became something I truly love and enjoy with all my heart. It is an honor to be trusted with such an important day, and my goal is to make each couple feel supported, cared for, and able to fully enjoy every moment of their wedding day.
About Chosen Events
I selected the name Chosen Events as a daily reminder of several things.
First and most importantly, God has chosen me through salvation. He gave His life so that I could have the gift of eternal life with Him. (Romans 6:23)
Being chosen also means being called to serve—to serve Him and to serve others in a way that brings glory to His name. (Colossians 3:23–24)
Because of this, it is my prayer that Chosen Events is more than just a wedding business. I pray that through every couple I serve, every wedding day I coordinate, and every interaction I have, people see the love of God in everything that takes place.
Chosen Events is a reminder that I am chosen, I am called to serve, and everything I do is ultimately for His glory.
